TPE: Total Power Exchange.
The goal of total power exchange is for the Master/slave to become all-embracing, 24/7, owner and property.
The idea is very controversial. Some have the semantic quibble that it isn’t “total” because the slave can always withdraw consent. Others express doubt that anyone who wants to be thus controlled isn’t emotionally healthy.
I remain agnostic about it. The couples that say they are in this kind of relationship usually very compatible and the power exchange probably wouldn’t endure otherwise. And - as with all BDSM practices - everyone’s idea of total power varies.
It is doubtlessly hard to find and maintain. There’s no shortage of men on the web complaining that the various people they deal with aren’t “real slaves.”
But that silly debate will never end.
