When it comes to knee pads for slaves advice is scanty and variable.
It depends on whether you want hard shell or soft knee pads, too. I haven’t spent a long time in either type, but I think I’d prefer the softer ones for moving around. My bootblack friends seem to prefer the hard shell versions. But then for all I know, they got used to that type doing sports or something else entirely. I’d definitely check out sporting goods stores to try on different types.
One thing I absolutely suggest getting if you have a riding pony is a pair of knee pads, preferably the kind carpet installers use. You can find them at places like Home Depot
Kneepads such as those used by skaters and skateboarders are useful for extended work on all fours, especially on a carpet, but they are awkward and tend to slip about. A cloth lightly bound around the knee is generally more practical
I can’t say if there’s any advantage to the leather knee pads sold by The Stockroom or not. The quality is probably high.
